Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school, secondary school or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of experience or associate degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Experience with common job-related hand tools, common power tools, machine shop tools and test equipment.
  • 2+ years of experience using basic mechanical, electronics hand tools, and/or electronics equipment (e.g. programmable power supplies, DMMs, current probes, oscilloscopes).
  • Experience with integration and testing of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation, schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness drawings.
  • Demonstrated understanding of ESD-safe handling practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IPC-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-J-STD-001 certifications.
  • Strong working knowledge of workmanship, contamination control, and hardware handling requirements for spaceflight electronics.
  • Travel, Physical, and/or Government Mandated Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, and perform hands-on assembly for extended periods.
  • Able to lift and move heavy items up to 50 lbs.
