Construction electrician role supporting residential, commercial, and building construction projects.
Electrical installation
- Install conduits, trunking, cable trays, junction boxes, switches, sockets, and lighting fixtures.
- Carry out wiring, cable pulling, termination, and connections according to approved drawings.
- Install and assist with distribution boards, circuit breakers, and other components within authorized scope.
- Coordinate with civil and MEP teams on concealed conduits, openings, and installation requirements.
- Read and follow electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, and site instructions.
- Assist with earthing and grounding system installation.
Inspection, testing, and coordination
- Inspect installations for wiring faults, loose connections, and other defects; perform basic testing and troubleshooting.
- Support testing, commissioning, and rectification under the direction of authorized personnel.
- Coordinate with the Electrical Supervisor and Site Engineer to meet project timelines.
- Report material shortages, installation issues, and safety hazards to the supervisor.
Safety and work standards
- Ensure installations comply with approved specifications and applicable safety requirements.
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures where applicable, use appropriate PPE, and maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Maintain electrical tools and equipment in good working condition.
Pay
- AED 1,000–2,000 per month.
