Job Description

Job Purpose

• This position is a unique opportunity with so many advantage in Oil and Gas career sector in one of the most important Project handled by SPIE in Qatar with QatarEnergy in which the Project in its 10th years multi discipline tasks in Maintenance and Operation of large Industrial Area
• Client satisfaction concluded by a new project contract award with new Positions added.
• The candidate shall be responsible for:
• 01.
• Operation and maintenance of complete Electrical Systems, which includes supervision, planning and scheduling, inspection.
• 02.
• Hands-on experience in all type of Electrical system equipment, and Control system maintenance.
• 03.
• Monitoring computerized maintenance system, handling of Notification, Work Order,
• 04.
• Operation & Maintenance of HV & LV Distribution network,
• 05.
• Maintenance of Switchgear, Transformer, Generator protection philosophy and testing of protection devices.
• 06.
• Maintenance of Neutral, equipment earthing system.
• 07.
• Operation & maintenance knowledge of UPS, Battery Charger, Battery Banks etc.
• 08.
• Maintenance of SCADA, FO cable, Switchgear Protective devices.
• 09.
• Hands-on experience in working with Work Permit system Oil & Gas Industry.
• 10.
• Draws attention to his ability to manage a repair department, perform preventative work, and follow safety protocols.
• 11.
• The candidate concludes with important abilities including Safe work culture and practices.
• Your main duties will be ensuring and conducting the following:
• Maintenance tasks.
• Installing and performing diagnostic tests on systems.
• Developing and implementing maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns.
• Troubleshooting malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.
• Documenting processes and maintaining service records.
• Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
• Optimizing efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.
• Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.
• Plant maintenance experience on HV Substations, switchboards up to 6.6kV, motors, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), thyristor rectifiers, and general plant electrical utilities are required

Profile

• Ideally you will have Trade Certificate in Electrical or higher
• With a minimum experience of 05 Years in Electrical Machines, Power System in Oil & Gas Industry, Power System Generation & Distribution Industry or equivalent.
• Shall be familiar with different electrical systems, equipment and component with its fittings and material specifications.
• Shall be capable to trouble shoot, maintain, repair the different electrical system, equipment and components
• Having hand on experience in the followings:
• HV & LV Distribution network with voltage
• Knowledge of Neutral, equipment earthing system.
• Experience required in numerical relay protection, transformer maintenance, MV and HV cable jointing and repair, vacuum breaker maintenance, MV motor maintenance and operation and maintenance of MV motor.
• Experience that includes PLCs, HVAC, instrumentation and the use of computer-based man-machine interfaces is preferred. Switching and operating experience on plant at 415V, 6.6kV, 11KV, 33kV and 132kV is highly desirable. Computer literacy essential and familiarity with MS Office 2000 packages.
• Having thorough knowledge of:
• Switchgear, Transformer, Generator protection philosophy and testing of protection devices.
• SCADA, FO cable, Switchgear Protective devices.
• Having thorough operation & maintenance knowledge of UPS, Battery Charger, Battery Banks etc.
• Familiar with hand tools, fasteners and other similar equipment.
• You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills,
• The candidate starts with general skills like repairing and maintaining equipment, running diagnostics, and identifying problems.
• The candidate concludes with important abilities including documentation and communication.
• Written communication, Active listening, Verbal communication, editing.
• Organization, Time management, Attention to detail, Problem-solving,
• Computer literacy essential and familiarity with MS Office 2000 packages.
