• ****What will you be doing at MBRF?****
• Responsible for all Electrical & Controls breakdowns in his area of responsibility.
• Check equipment and maintain to basic condition
• Ensure Electrical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality.
• Adhere to Corrective, Preventive, Scheduled Maintenance and Kanban system,
• Comply with safety guidelines and procedures. (HSE).
• Co-ordinate with Maintenance team for all continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure proper handling of chemical products.
• Comply with all HSE and food safety HACCP requirements and pre-requirements within the workplace.
• Comply with all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements within the workplace.
• Ensure GMP and 5S compliance within the workplace.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Process and Food Defense requirements, and other applicable procedure related to the scope of the job.
• Reduce the mean time of repair (MTTR) in the lines, through effective presence in the line.
• Analyze and report any anomalies, complete notifications M1, M2 and M3 in the PM system and confirm orders
• Comply with BRF Sustainability Policy guidelines, ensure adherence to BRF Sustainability Plan through activities in its routines that promotes compliance with the indicators and global ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments of the Company, ensuring the connection between its actions and sustainable development in the BRF chain.
• ****What kind of profile are we looking for?****
• Knowledge of electrical controls, power circuit, Automation circuit, etc.
• Experience in electrical maintenance of equipment in Food / FMCG industry.
• Basic expertise in trouble shooting electrical and repairing, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic system of machine, equipment etc.
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations in the country.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, electricals drawings, Pneumatic drawings, Hydraulics circuit etc.
• Experience of Asset Management in Food / FMCG Industry.
• Knowledge on Food technology & Food safety.
• Basic communication.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Microsoft - word, excel and Power point
• Understanding of analytical tools PDCA, RCA, 5s
• Flexibility in working hours.
• Flexibility in skills and support other areas.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a Multicultural Team
• ****What competencies are key to this role?****
• Strong knowledge of electrical controls, power circuits, automation circuits, and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical breakdowns efficiently.
• Uses troubleshooting methodologies and analytical tools such as RCA and PDCA to identify causes of failures and implement corrective actions.
• Executes corrective, preventive, and scheduled maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and reduce downtime (MTTR).
• Understanding of Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, Food Defense requirements, and maintaining compliance within a food manufacturing environment.
• Adheres to safety procedures, risk assessments, PPE requirements, and safe working practices while supporting a zero-LTI culture.
• Works effectively with Maintenance, Production, and cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment, demonstrating good communication and teamwork skills.
