• ****What will you be doing at MBRF?****
• Effectively manage $50MM in spend across co-packing categories, distribution partnerships, assessment and implementation of new categories and other topics related to regular procurement activities in the GCC (Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar), international Markets, and Global procurement team
• Support defining short, middle and long term commercial strategy for our operations across the region and globally
• Work closely with key stakeholders and suppliers to develop and implement category strategies to drive alignment and ensure quality of services and improved Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) value to the business on a sustainable basis
• Drive effective and data driven supplier negotiations based on internal, external benchmarking data, market trends, and supplier price models to support above category strategy execution to meet business objectives for the category
• Independently and proactively identifies areas of opportunity for new business opportunities, process improvement, and cost efficiencies
• Develop and handle annual budgets and monthly forecasts for cash flow, purchase price variance, and other financial metrics for the assigned categories
• ****What kind of profile are we looking for?****
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field required
• MCIPS or equivalent preferred
• Fluent in English (Arabic, is preferable but not a must)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, indirect procurement, and/or supply chain management in food industry
• Experience negotiating complex service agreements and sourcing for multiple indirect categories
• Experience in RFI/RFP/RFQ development, evaluation, negotiations, execution, and contract management
• Excellent negotiation, contract management, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in the understanding of legal issues, contractual principles, and negotiation techniques used in the development of complex contractual agreements
• Knowledge of procurement software and systems (SAP, ARIBA, COUPA); must be familiar with supply base performance metrics and key performance indicators
