Job Description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Electrical Technician to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment while ensuring compliance with all safety standards and local electrical codes.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, efficiency in troubleshooting complex electrical issues, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and safety.
- Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and systems in accordance with technical specifications and safety regulations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using testing equipment such as multimeters and circuit testers
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
- Analyze circuit diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation to understand system requirements and identify potential issues
- Repair or replace faulty electrical components, wiring, and equipment with precision and efficiency
- Conduct electrical testing and inspections to verify system functionality and compliance with safety standards
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate work schedules and ensure project completion
- Adhere to all workplace safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Stay current with electrical codes, industry standards, and best practices relevant to the UAE market
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, installation, or repair work
- Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, circuit testers)
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and wiring practices
- Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards applicable in the United Arab Emirates
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Competency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in electrical work
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid electrical certification or license (preferred, depending on UAE requirements)
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and equipment care
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to health and safety regulations
