Electrical Site Engineer (Data Center)

We are seeking a site-based Electrical Engineer to supervise and verify contractor execution of HV/MV electrical works for data center projects. The role focuses on compliance, testing readiness, electrical safety governance, energization activities, and coordination of substation-related works.

The ideal candidate will have strong HV/MV site supervision experience, solid knowledge of substation works, and exposure to data center or mission-critical project environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect contractor execution of HV/MV works and substation activities.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and project standards.
• Oversee switchgear, transformers, RMUs, substations, cables, joints, and terminations.
• Review technical submissions, including shop drawings, SLDs, method statements, ITPs, and risk assessments.
• Verify implementation of permit-to-work, LOTO, and HV safety requirements.
• Track progress and flag risks related to sequencing, safety, access, testing, and energization.
• Witness testing activities and support energization readiness reviews.
• Attend coordination and technical meetings with project and site stakeholders.
• Report discipline-specific issues, progress updates, and risks.
• Support utility authority coordination during inspections, testing, and energization activities.
• Verify contractor progress for payment validation.
• Support punch lists, as-built documentation, handover dossiers, NCRs, field changes, and variation requests.
