Role description
The Electrical Site Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi.
The role supervises and coordinates electrical works on construction and maintenance projects.
Duties
- Oversee site activities and ensure work complies with electrical drawings and specifications.
- Conduct inspections and electrical testing; monitor quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to plan schedules and resolve technical issues.
- Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and routine electrical maintenance.
- Help deliver project milestones on time and maintain accurate site and inspection records.
Qualifications
- Strong electrical engineering knowledge, including electricity principles and building services systems.
- Site supervision skills, including team coordination, progress monitoring, and enforcement of safety and quality standards.
- Electrical inspection, verification, testing, and commissioning capabilities in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
- Electrical maintenance experience covering fault diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of UAE electrical regulations, standards, and safety practices; ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Effective communication, teamwork, organization, and time-management abilities.
- Similar site engineering experience in commercial or industrial building projects is preferred.
