Overview
- Execute installation and erection of high-voltage substation equipment including transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, CTs, VTs, and associated systems.
- Perform site inspections, clearances, and ensure readiness for installation, testing, and energization activities.
- Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements.
- Coordinate with civil and MEP teams to ensure proper interface and smooth execution of electrical works.
- Liaise with engineers for inspections, site approvals, and closure of snags/punch points.
- Ensure adherence to Permit-to-Work (PTW) system and HSE standards during all site activities.
- Coordinate with OEM vendors for equipment installation, testing support, and supervision.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure completion within project schedule and budget constraints.
- Maintain accurate site documentation including inspection reports, material records, and daily progress updates.
- Identify and report technical issues, deviations, and scope changes during project execution.
