Electrical Engineer Technical Office (8 10 Years Experience)
Key Responsibilities
Review and check IFC drawings, specifications, and all electrical system design documents.
Conduct technical reviews of IFC documentation and identify design issues, discrepancies, and conflicts.
Prepare, submit, and follow up on RFIs (Requests for Information).
Prepare material take-offs and quantity estimations for all electrical systems.
Develop technical documentation, reports, method statements, operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals, and related project documents.
Coordinate with and support draftsmen in the preparation and submission of shop drawings.
Manage procurement activities and follow up with suppliers for various electrical systems and materials.
Review supplier quotations and technical offers to ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.
Prepare and submit technical material submittals and supporting documentation.
Provide technical support to site teams and assist in resolving engineering and construction issues.
Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure timely approval of technical submissions and material procurements.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
8 10 years of experience in MEP projects, with a strong background in Technical Office activities.
Proficiency in reviewing electrical design drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Experience
in material take-offs, shop drawing coordination, and technical submittals.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, international standards, and construction practices.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other relevant engineering software.
