Role overview
Oversee the operation, maintenance, and safety of electrical systems across managed facilities.
Ensure reliable, compliant systems through preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise maintenance of power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
- Inspect and troubleshoot LV panels, generators, UPS, ATS units, and fire alarm interfaces.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, utility regulations, and HSE requirements.
- Review work permits, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate technicians, electricians, and subcontractors.
- Respond to breakdowns and emergency call-outs; perform root cause analysis.
- Prepare inspection reports, maintenance records, and as-built documentation.
- Monitor energy use and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Support planned shutdowns, system upgrades, and minor projects.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders on service performance and SLA compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- 8–10 years in electrical maintenance or operations, including at least 3 years in facilities management, building services, or a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of LV electrical systems, MEP services, and relevant international and local standards.
- Experience with CMMS and maintenance planning.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Professional engineering body registration or accreditation is preferred.
- A valid Qatar driving license is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is listed as QAR 1.00–QAR 2.00 per month.
