Role overview

Drawing preparation and coordination

• Prepare detailed electrical and MEP drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, layouts, and as-built drawings.
• Create drawings for power distribution, lighting, small power, fire alarm, ELV, cable routing, and other electrical systems.
• Coordinate electrical drawings with architectural, structural, mechanical, and other MEP services.
• Prepare single-line diagrams, schematics, layouts, sections, and detailed drawings.

Site support and drawing control

• Revise drawings in response to engineer, consultant, and client comments.
• Take site measurements and update drawings to reflect actual site conditions.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, applicable standards, and requirements.
• Maintain drawing revisions, records, and documentation.
• Support engineers and site teams with technical drawings and modifications and meet project deadlines and submission requirements.

Qualifications and experience

• Requires a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Drafting, or a related field.
• Requires at least 5 years of relevant Electrical Draftsman experience and construction/MEP project experience.
• Requires strong AutoCAD proficiency and experience preparing shop and as-built drawings.
• Requires understanding of electrical power, lighting, ELV, fire alarm systems, MEP coordination, and technical drawing standards.
• Revit MEP knowledge is an advantage.
• Requires attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, communication, and teamwork skills.

Pay

• Pay is QAR 5,000–6,500 per month.
