Role Overview
Oversees quality assurance and quality control processes for construction projects in Qatar.
Ensures compliance with Ashghal Qatar requirements and other technical, procedural, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least 10 years of work experience is required.
- The ideal candidate has extensive experience working on Ashghal projects and understands large-scale construction projects in Qatar.
Quality Planning and Compliance
- Develop and implement QA and QC plans, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure construction activities meet client specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements, particularly Ashghal standards.
- Monitor quality management system performance and compliance with international standards.
Audits and Site Activities
- Lead quality audits, inspections, and assessments across multiple project sites.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to monitor construction processes and quality compliance.
- Assist in resolving quality-related issues during construction.
Documentation and Reviews
- Oversee testing records, inspection reports, and corrective action documentation.
- Review and approve materials, submittals, and shop drawings according to project specifications.
- Prepare regular quality reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Training
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote quality awareness among project teams.
Employment and Pay
- The position is full-time.
- Pay is QAR 10,000 to QAR 13,000 per month.
