- Proven experience in electric distribution design, field coordination, and project oversight
- Ability to work with initiative, professionalism, and confidentiality, and is able to work independently, multi-task, and adapt to change in a very dynamic environment.
- Initiative in problem detection and resolution
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task between multiple project managers and projects
- Works well in a teaming environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD design. Experience with Civil 3D preferred, not mandatory (Surfaces, Alignments, Profiles, Cross-Sections, Corridors, and Grading)
- Experience in reading and interpreting design plans
- Ability to lift and move items and equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Ideal Candidate must be located in or 2 hours away (maximum) from advertised location.
- Engineering Technology and/or comparable work experience in electrical distribution systems design.
- 1+ years progressive electrical design experience in electrical distribution projects.
- Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Fieldwork may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
