About This Role
Overview
We are looking for a qualified and experienced TPI E&I Inspector to carry out third-party inspection activities for electrical and instrumentation works across oil & gas, refinery, and petrochemical projects.
The role involves ensuring all installations, testing, and commissioning activities comply with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform third-party inspection (TPI) for
- electrical and instrumentation systems
- at site and workshop.
- Review and verify
Inspection Test Plans (ITP)
- , method statements, and quality procedures.
- Inspect installation of electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, MCCs, panels, and cable systems.
- Inspect instrumentation systems including transmitters, control valves, analyzers, and field instruments.
- Witness and verify activities such as
- cable laying, glanding, termination, and earthing/grounding systems
- .
- Monitor calibration, loop checking, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and international standards (IEC, NEC, API, ISA).
- Conduct inspections in
- hazardous areas
- and ensure compliance with
IEC 60079 / ATEX requirements
- .
- Coordinate with NDT/testing teams and verify test results (IR, continuity, functional testing, etc.).
- Identify non-conformities (NCRs) and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Review and approve test reports, calibration certificates, and QA/QC documentation.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams for inspection coordination and approvals.
