Role overview

Site safety and risk control

• Prepare EHS plans, emergency response plans, risk assessments, and environmental management plans.
• Conduct daily inspections, identify hazards and high-risk areas, and ensure safe work permits are in place.
• Ensure toolbox talks are delivered, personnel wear required PPE, and equipment such as ladders and scaffolding is safe to use.
• Maintain housekeeping and assess high-risk activities through job EHS analysis and method statement review.
• Stop work when unsafe practices are observed.

Training, incident response, and welfare

• Provide EHS induction and training for workers and engineers.
• Investigate incidents and accidents with engineers, share findings, and provide first aid or seek medical assistance when needed.
• Coordinate occupational health and welfare measures, including water, rest areas, lighting, and ventilation.
• Prepare emergency plans and conduct emergency drills.

Audits and reporting

• Attend client and project EHS meetings and report EHS issues and performance to headquarters and project leadership.
• Coordinate external EHS audits and third-party equipment inspections; conduct monthly risk management audits and quarterly system audits.
• Maintain EHS activity documentation and prepare EHS contract conditions for subcontractors.
