Role overview
A hands-on EHS Manager supports approximately 250 employees across five Videojet sites in the UK and Ireland.
The remit includes R&D, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, and commercial field locations.
The role reports to the Global Director, EHS & Sustainability.
Workplace and travel
- Primarily based at Videojet's Nottingham locations in a five-day-a-week, fully onsite position.
- Regular travel includes approximately 2–3 days per month at Huntingdon and 2–3 visits per year to Ireland; travel may increase with operational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain EHS and site-security systems across five locations and ensure applicable UK and Ireland requirements are met.
- Coordinate EHS training, risk controls, performance monitoring, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Engage teams and advise site leaders; support incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Maintain audit-ready records and reporting, share good practice, and coordinate regional EHS activities and site visits.
Essential requirements
- Proven experience developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS systems.
