EH&S Supervisor
Role Overview
Air Products is looking for an experienced Site EH&S Supervisor to manage safety and environmental concerns of a 380kV Substation, 380kV underground cable and 380kV OHTL Project.
The successful candidate will have extensive EH&S experience, particularly in managing substation and OHTL transmission lines.
The candidate should have excellent leadership skills to manage the project site independently and be competent in managing emergencies at the site.

Job Description
Air Products is looking for an experienced Site EH&S Supervisor to manage safety and environmental concerns of a 380kV Substation, 380kV underground cable and 380kV OHTL Project.
The successful candidate will have extensive EH&S experience, particularly in managing substation and OHTL transmission lines.
The candidate should have excellent leadership skills to manage the project site independently and be competent in managing emergencies at the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the full implementation of the project EH&S Plan.
- Actively promote the development of a Total Safety Culture and provide support during implementation of related leadership activities.
- Act as a coach for EH&S team members and for contractors.
- Support the contractors' HAZID process.
- Support the implementation of the Project Emergency Response Plan.
- Ensure EH&S risks have been assessed and risk mitigation measures are in place.
- Assist the project team in identifying project safety concerns.
- Coordinate a program of inspections and audits in the accountable area.
- Ensure safety equipment is regularly inspected, fully operational and color coded.
- Support the implementation of the Permit to Work process.
- Monitor adherence to the LOTO work process, ensuring LOTO is adequate and installed correctly.
- Ensure all permits are adequately completed and fully implemented at site.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or environmental, health and safety or any relevant field.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent is a mandatory requirement.
- At least ten (10) years of experience handling EH&S issues in substation and OHTL transmission line projects.
- Deep understanding of codes, standards and regulations concerning environmental protection, occupational health and safety, particularly in power transmission and distribution projects.
- Deep understanding of incident investigations.
- Excellent supervisory skills.
- Good team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible enough to work long hours and travel to remote areas to oversee the project site.
- Experience in KSA would be an added advantage.
- KSA/International Driving license is a must for this position.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Physically fit and able to spend a large proportion of the day on site.
