Overview

Responsibilities

• Lead the editorial department for the Arabian Business group of brands.
• Define and execute the editorial vision for the Arabian Business group of brands, ensuring high-quality, exclusive, and thought-provoking content.
• Develop content strategies that enhance subscriber acquisition, retention, and engagement.
• Manage, motivate and mentor a team of journalists and editors producing investigative reports, deep-dive analysis, and exclusive business insights tailored for a paying audience.
• Curate and deliver live events, connecting high-profile business leaders and the Arabian Business community.
• Moderate high-impact, on-stage interviews with C-suite executives at live events.
• Secure exclusives and interviews that define the industry narrative.
• Oversee the expansion of multimedia content, including podcasts, video, and newsletters, to enhance the brand’s digital offering.
• Work closely with commercial teams, ensuring alignment between editorial and business goals without compromising journalistic integrity.
• Represent Arabian Business at industry events, maintaining strong relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders.

Key Skills

• Proven experience in a senior editorial role within a subscription-based publication (business, finance, or economics media preferred).
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing editorial teams.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
• Fluent in digital and social analytics, excellent grasp of SEO best practice.
• Data-driven but understands that brand longevity wins every time.
• A well-established network within the business and finance sector.
