The role
We're hiring a Creative Strategist / Video Editor Intern who lives at the intersection of storytelling, performance marketing, and AI tooling.
You'll own video ads end-to-end: researching brands and audiences, scripting hooks, generating assets with AI, and editing the final cuts.
This is hands-on creative work you're shipping ads that go live for real clients.
If you doomscroll TikTok and instinctively note why an ad worked, if you've already been playing with Veo, Sora, Runway, Kling, ElevenLabs, or Midjourney for fun, and if you can cut a tight 15-second video that earns the swipe-up, you'll fit right in.
What you'll do
- Research brands, products, competitors, and target audiences to develop ad angles that convert
- Write short-form ad scripts and hooks tailored to Meta, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Generate visuals, voiceovers, avatars, and B-roll using AI tools (Veo, Sora, Runway, Kling, ElevenLabs, Midjourney, HeyGen, etc.)
- Edit videos in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve — pacing, captions, sound design, the works
- Ship creative variations fast so we can test what works
- Iterate based on performance data and client feedback
- Collaborate async with strategists, account managers, and clients across time zones
- Stay on top of new AI tools and ad trends — and bring fresh ideas to the team
- What we're looking for
- A strong creative eye and a portfolio (even a personal one) — TikToks, reels, edits, anything that shows how you think visually
- Solid grasp of at least one editing tool: CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects
- Hands-on experience with generative AI video, image, or voice tools
- Sharp written English and the ability to write hooks that don't feel like ads
- Self-starter energy — you can manage your own time, hit deadlines, and ask good questions when stuck
- Curiosity about performance marketing, direct response, and what makes people click
- Nice to have
- Prior work on UGC-style ads or short-form social content
- Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager or TikTok Ads Manager
- Motion graphics or sound design skills
- A track record of personal projects, side hustles, or content you've published
Logistics
