About This Role
Position Overview
As an Editor, you will be responsible for orchestrating the creation, refinement, and finalization of published content.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and edit articles, photographs, and other content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Coordinate with writers and other contributors to meet deadlines and improve content quality.
- Provide constructive feedback to authors and suggest revisions to enhance readability and engagement.
- Manage the publication schedule and ensure timely delivery of content.
- Relocation is required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in editing, publishing, or a related role.
- Strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Skills
- Proficient in editing software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and other content management tools.
- Exceptional writing and editing abilities with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
- Contract length: 24 months
- Pay: Up to AED11,000.00 per month
- Ability to commute/relocate:
- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
