Key responsibilities

  • Support engineering, logistics, maintenance and operations teams to maintain system performance.
  • Collaborate with the System Integration Lab analysis team and Systems and Software Engineers to document, develop and implement solutions.
  • Present findings and solutions to leadership or customers.
  • Troubleshoot radar systems using field support equipment, diagnostics, unit self-tests and built-in test equipment.
  • Assess complex RF systems, monitor operations, isolate failures and replace failed components.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance using ALCS or equivalent tools.
  • Advise foreign military personnel on EWR operational and tactical procedures.
  • Conduct OJT programs and participate in CMOC exercises using practice scenarios.
  • Work rotating 12-hour shifts and respond to downing events as required.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds, climb up and down eight flights of stairs, and work in extreme environments.

Required qualifications

  • Complete EWR console certification under the U.S. Air Force or an equivalent EWR Contractor course.
  • Have five years of experience testing, integrating, maintaining, aligning, adjusting, calibrating and operating RF equipment associated with Early Warning Radar systems.
  • Have experience assessing complex RF system performance, monitoring and troubleshooting systems, isolating failures, and replacing failed components.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Typically have a related bachelor’s degree and five years of experience, or an advanced degree and three years; experience may substitute for education, with at least ten years required without a degree.
  • Hold an active, transferable Secret security clearance before starting.

Preferred qualifications

  • EWR operations and maintenance experience down to component level; experience advising foreign military personnel; Arabic literacy; CMOC exercise experience; ALCS or equivalent scheduling-system experience; prior OJT participation; customer and contractor coordination; or CORE Certification.

Workplace and schedule

  • The role is described as an onsite Qatar assignment; it involves rotating 12-hour shifts and response to system issues on a 24/7 basis.

Compensation

  • The posting gives a salary range of USD 95,500–181,700 without specifying a pay cadence.
