Role purpose

Manage, operate, update, and maintain the website and e-commerce platform in a hands-on role that includes basic technical troubleshooting and modifications.

Website and store operations

  • Manage and update the company website and e-commerce platform daily.
  • Add and update products, prices, images, descriptions, categories, and promotions.
  • Monitor online orders and inventory and coordinate with the warehouse and delivery team.
  • Prepare basic reports on sales, orders, inventory, and technical issues.
  • Suggest website and user-experience improvements.

Technical maintenance

  • Check the website regularly and identify errors, bugs, and technical issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website technical issues independently whenever possible.
  • Make basic website modifications and manage plugins, settings, and configurations.
  • Monitor the domain, hosting, SSL, payment gateways, and shipping integrations.
  • Test the website on desktop and mobile, checking checkout, links, pages, and forms.
  • Coordinate with developers or technical support when advanced assistance is needed.

Qualifications and experience

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, e-commerce, or a related field.
  • One to three years of experience in website administration, e-commerce, or technical support.
  • Experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, or similar platforms.
  • Good understanding of basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Basic knowledge of hosting, domains, plugins, APIs, and website integrations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and good communication and coordination skills.
  • Must be able to identify website problems, troubleshoot and attempt repairs independently, and make basic modifications.

Pay

  • Pay is AED 3,000–3,500 per month.

  • Work location is in person.
