Our company is a new French chocolates e-commerce located in Al Ain, Al Noud and delivering daily in the entire United Arab Emirates.
Role and Responsibilities
*Position Overview:*
We are seeking for our first employee - a diligent and detail-oriented E-commerce Order Fulfillment Specialist.
You will ensure the seamless operation of our online sweets and chocolates business.
You will be responsible for repacking sweets and chocolates into customer-friendly packaging, managing inventory levels, fulfilling customer orders, and updating our Shopify e-commerce platform as needed.
*Responsibilities:*
Order Fulfillment
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders, ensuring items are neatly packaged.
- Prepare and print shipping labels for outgoing orders.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Update the fulfillment status on Shopify system.
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock availability and prevent shortages.
- Conduct regular stock counts and update inventory records.
- Alert management to low stock levels and recommend restocking as needed.
- Update stock levels on our Shopify system.
Product Repackaging
- Carefully repackage sweets and chocolates into appealing and customer-ready boxes, trays or other containers, customizing them as per customer requirements.
- Print and apply customized stickers, labels, or other requested personalizations on the boxes.
- Maintain product quality and hygiene standards during repackaging.
- Add ribbons, decorations, or special touches based on specific customer preferences to create an aesthetically pleasing presentation.
**Quality Control**
- **I**nspect products for quality and ensure they meet our standards while strictly adhering to health and safety standards.
- Address any quality concerns or issues promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in e-commerce order fulfillment and inventory management is preferred.
- Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to pass the food health and safety training and exams required by the authorities.
Working Conditions
This role primarily involves working in a cool, temperature-controlled environment with a maintained temperature of 18-20 degrees Celsius.
You will have the option to either sit or stand while performing your tasks, ensuring a comfortable workspace.
To further enhance your comfort, warm clothes or uniforms will be provided.
The position may require some weekend or evening work during peak sales periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: AED3,500.00 per month
