What You'll Do

• You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:
• You will be responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operations of AVA at Palm Jumeirah, ensuring that every resident and their guests experience reflect the refined elegance, discretion, and exceptional service standards synonymous with Dorchester Collection.
• You’ll also act as the senior operational presence on shift, coordinating front‑of‑house teams, while managing resident requests, anticipating needs, and resolving matters with calm professionalism and attention to detail, always in line with safety, security, and luxury service standards.

• You will support senior leadership by monitoring service delivery across the residence, ensuring seamless operations at all touchpoints, and maintaining exceptional standards throughout public and private spaces. You will proactively manage feedback, incidents, and escalations with discretion and diplomacy. You will also ensure accurate reporting, effective shift handovers, and full compliance with Dorchester Collection policies and local regulatory requirements.

What You'll Bring

• You’ll bring your distinct personality, emotional intelligence, and genuine passion for luxury service to the role and our close‑knit team.
• You have a talent for leading operations within a five‑star or ultra‑luxury environment, managing high‑profile clientele, multitasking across departments, and delivering polished, intuitive service. Prior experience in ultra‑luxury hotels, branded residences, or high‑end residential developments is essential, along with strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have exceptional communication skills, a poised and professional presence, and a naturally courteous, resident‑focused service style.
• English is the primary language used at AVA. You can comfortably communicate in this language. Additional languages such as Arabic, Russian, French, Italian, or Mandarin are highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage.
