Apt Resources is recruiting a driver with engineering maintenance experience for a prestigious restaurant in Dubai.
The role combines safe, timely transportation with general maintenance of restaurant facilities and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Transport staff, supplies, equipment, and other items safely as required.
- Check the vehicle routinely and keep it clean, maintained, and roadworthy.
- Assist with basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs.
- Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot restaurant facilities and equipment.
- Report maintenance issues, malfunctions, and repair needs to the engineering or maintenance team.
- Support preventive maintenance and maintain a clean, organized, safe working environment.
- Follow traffic regulations, company policies, and workplace safety procedures.
Requirements
- Proven driver experience with hands-on engineering maintenance experience and a valid UAE driving licence.
- Good knowledge of UAE road safety and traffic regulations.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or general facilities maintenance; ability to use basic tools and perform minor repairs.
- Restaurant, kitchen equipment, or commercial property maintenance experience is an advantage.
- Problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, teamwork, and physical fitness are required.
- Relevant technical certification or vocational training is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
