Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of HOS, DOT compliance, and TMS systems (McLeod preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a fleet of 30–45 flatbed drivers with daily check-ins and coaching.
  • Monitor RPM, gross revenue, MPG, and other KPIs to keep performance on track.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Dispatchers to optimize load planning, preplans, and driver availability.
  • Run monthly performance reviews that celebrate wins and address gaps head-on.
  • Keep McLeod TMS records clean: ETAs, PTAs, HOS, maintenance, the works.
  • Review Samsara data for safety, fuel, and compliance.
  • Coordinate with maintenance to keep trucks running and minimize downtime.
  • Be the driver’s voice when working with Dispatch, Customer Service, and Safety.
  • Drivers that are profitable, safe, and want to stick around.
  • Low turnover and high morale across your fleet.
  • Clean compliance records and inspection-ready trucks.
  • A reputation as someone drivers trust and leadership relies on.
