Driver, Rotational Line

High school diploma or equivalent or experience in lieu of education.

Minimum of two years of experience operating Class A equipment.

Class A CDL with the following endorsements: X (Tanker and Hazmat) and Doubles or Triples. Must meet current driver qualifications as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

Must have a current medical card.

Must be able to obtain a TWIC card.

Must possess Longer Combination Vehicle Certificate (LCV) or be able to obtain it within the introductory period.

Experience delivering fuel.

Experience driving in winter conditions.

Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook and Word) and able to use tablets for (ELD, maintenance, and hours of service tracking).

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to demonstrate effective customer services skills. Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team. Knowledge of and ability to identify safety hazards and necessary safety precautions to establish a safe work environment. Knowledge of and the ability to safely operate and/or maintain machinery, tools and equipment. Ability to lift and maneuver 50 plus pounds.

Work Schedule:

Point of Hire is Palmer, Alaska. Employees that reside outside of Palmer are responsible for all costs associated for getting to Palmer.

The work schedule is flexible, dependent upon operational requirements and is to be mutually agreed upon between the company and the employee.

The work week will commence on the first day of a scheduled work assignment.

Overtime pay will be paid for any hours worked over 8 hours in any one given day or 40 hours in any given week.

Working Conditions:

Works both inside an office environment and also outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment. Must be able to crouch and stoop to get into areas with restricted headroom and be able to climb ladders. May require extended use of computer keyboard and viewing of computer monitor and ability to sit for long periods of time.
