Responsibilities

• Operate light vehicles safely and efficiently while following UAE traffic laws and regulations.
• Plan and execute routes for timely delivery or transportation of goods and passengers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate mileage, fuel-consumption, and delivery records.
• Keep vehicles clean and well maintained.
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and colleagues.
• Follow company policies and safety protocols to minimize incidents.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide courteous service.
• Manage time to meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
• Immediately report vehicle malfunctions and safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Valid UAE driving license for light vehicles (Category B or equivalent).
• Two to five years of proven driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of UAE traffic rules, regulations, and road signs.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; professional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to navigate using maps and GPS, perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections, and operate vehicles for extended periods.
• Reliability, punctuality, and customer-service orientation.

Preferred skills

• Experience with GPS and navigation technology is preferred.
• Defensive driving training or certification, prior logistics or delivery experience, familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures, and multilingual abilities are preferred.
