Driver & Event Assistant

Role overview

Main responsibilities

• Provide driving support for business trips, deliveries, collections, errands, appointments, and occasional transportation for the employer and family members.
• Assist with making handmade giant flowers and other event decorations; training is provided.
• Prepare, organize, pack, and check event items before setups.
• Load and unload decorations, stands, boxes, and event materials.
• Assist the event team with setup and dismantling at hospitals, homes, venues, and other event locations.
• Organize and maintain business materials, tools, decorations, and event equipment.
• Keep the business workspace clean and tidy; clean and organize work tables, tools, materials, and equipment after use.
• Assist with general day-to-day business tasks, work as part of the event setup team, and follow instructions.

Requirements

• A valid UAE driving licence and confidence driving in Dubai are required.
• The role involves physical activity, including packing, carrying, loading, and unloading event materials.
• Flexibility and willingness to assist with different work-related tasks are important.
• Candidates should be reliable, organized, hardworking, responsible, flexible, and willing to learn.

Schedule

• Event schedules may vary, and some setups or dismantling may take place in the evening.

Workplace

• The position is based in Dubai and operates from a home-based private workshop or workspace.
• Work includes setup and dismantling at hospitals, homes, venues, and other event locations.
• Cleaning duties are limited to the business workspace, tools, materials, and work-related items; household cleaning, cooking, childcare, and other domestic duties are not included.
• Work is in person.

Compensation and benefits

• Pay is AED 2,000–2,500 per month, depending on experience.
• Employment visa, accommodation, and meals are provided.
