Overview
The Driver is responsible for safely transporting company staff, materials, tools, and equipment to project sites and other designated locations.
The role ensures timely deliveries, proper vehicle maintenance, and compliance with traffic laws and company safety policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive company vehicles to transport staff, materials, and equipment to project sites and designated locations.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery as per assigned schedules.
- Follow all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of company vehicles.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials and equipment when required.
- Keep accurate records of trips, fuel usage, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Ensure all vehicle documents, licenses, and permits are valid and updated.
- Support logistics and site teams with transportation requirements.
- Report accidents, delays, or vehicle issues immediately to the supervisor.
- Ensure safe handling and transportation of materials and tools.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid UAE driving license (Light Vehicle / Heavy Vehicle as required).
- Minimum 2–5 years of driving experience in UAE/GCC.
- Good knowledge of UAE roads, traffic rules, and locations.
- Experience in transporting construction materials and staff is preferred.
- Ability to communicate in basic English; Arabic or Hindi is an advantage.
- Good time management and responsibility.
- Physically fit and able to assist with loading/unloading when needed.
