Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Driver role located in Doha, Qatar.
The Driver will be responsible for safely operating company trucks to transport materials, equipment, and goods between project sites and designated locations.
Daily tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, following assigned routes and schedules, and maintaining accurate delivery and log records.
The Driver will coordinate with site supervisors, logistics staff, and other team members to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to company safety standards and local traffic regulations.
The role also involves interacting with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner and supporting basic vehicle upkeep and cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Strong truck driving skills and experience operating commercial trucks safely and efficiently.
- Valid CDL Class A or equivalent heavy vehicle driving license appropriate for Qatar, with a clean driving record.
- Effective communication and customer service skills for interacting with team members, clients, and site personnel.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safety procedures, including routine inspections.
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations in Doha, Qatar, or willingness to learn and comply.
- Ability to follow delivery schedules, work in a fast-paced construction environment, and handle physical tasks such as loading and unloading materials.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Previous experience in construction, logistics, or related fields is an advantage; basic literacy and numeracy skills required.
