Sales Officer / Executive – Transport & Waste Management

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Officer / Executive to play a crucial role in driving business growth, building long-lasting client relationships, and promoting sustainable waste management solutions.

Your responsibilities will be tailored to the unique demands of the industry, focusing on waste collection, recycling, hazardous waste disposal, and comprehensive environmental services.

· Identify and target potential clients, including businesses, municipalities, and industrial facilities, to offer waste management services.

· Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the customer base and increase market share.

· Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors within the waste management industry.

· Promote core services, including waste collection, recycling, hazardous waste disposal, and composting.

· Educate clients on the benefits of sustainable waste management practices, emphasizing cost-effective and eco-friendly solutions.

· Ensure clients are informed about environmental regulations and compliance standards.

· Assess client needs, collaborate with technical teams, and recommend tailored waste management plans.

· Build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with existing clients to maximize satisfaction and retention.

· Address client inquiries, concerns, and service-related issues promptly and conduct regular follow-ups.

· Meet or exceed organizational sales targets and KPIs.

· Prepare, present, and maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.

· Track sales activities and maintain detailed records using CRM systems (e.g., SAP).

· Negotiate contracts and service agreements, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the company.

· Work closely with operations, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and provide actionable client feedback.

· Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Environmental Science, Marketing, or a related field.

· Experience: 5 years of preferred experience as a Sales Executive, specifically within the Waste Management, Transport, or Environmental Services industry.

· Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of waste management processes, recycling technologies, and environmental regulations.

· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively pitch services and build relationships.

English is required; Arabic speaking is a distinct advantage.

· Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to successfully negotiate contracts and close deals.

· Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to address complex client needs and provide effective solutions.

· Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software, SAP, Microsoft Office, and other essential sales tools.

· Sustainability Awareness: A genuine passion for environmental sustainability and promoting eco-friendly practices.

· Must be currently based in Qatar.

· Must possess a valid Qatar Driving License.

· Must have a valid NOC (No Objection Certificate) and be available to join immediately.
