Role overview

Driving and delivery logistics

• Operate light/medium commercial vehicles such as panel vans, pickup trucks, and 3-ton trucks safely.
• Follow assigned schedules and routes to reach customers, showrooms, warehouses, and project sites on time.
• Follow UAE traffic laws, speed limits, parking regulations, and road safety requirements.
• Use GPS and navigation apps to plan efficient routes and reduce unnecessary travel and fuel consumption.

Cargo handling and vehicle care

• Load, secure, arrange, and organize furniture and products to prevent movement or damage in transit.
• Check items against delivery notes, invoices, pick lists, or other relevant documents before departure.
• Unload items carefully and place them at customer premises, project sites, or designated locations.
• Handle fragile, bulky, high-value, and delicate items with care; report missing, damaged, or incorrect items promptly.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip checks of oil, tires, brakes, lights, mirrors, and general vehicle condition.
• Keep the vehicle clean and report mechanical problems, accidents, violations, or maintenance needs.
• Keep vehicle registration, insurance, service records, toll/Salik account, and other required documents valid and available.

Customer service and installation support

• Obtain customer signatures, delivery confirmations, or proof of delivery and submit accurate delivery records.
• Communicate politely with customers, site managers, showroom and warehouse staff, and team members; refer complaints or disputes to management.
• Confirm delivery location and items with the customer before unloading.
• Assist with furniture movement and positioning and, when required and properly trained, basic assembly or installation.
• Protect customer property during delivery and collect or dispose of packaging as instructed.

General duties

• Follow company policies and supervisor instructions, maintain professional conduct, and protect customer and company information.
• Assist warehouse, showroom, and delivery teams with reasonable tasks related to delivery operations.

Qualifications and skills

• Valid UAE driving license suitable for the company vehicle.
• Previous driver, delivery, furniture delivery assistant, or similar experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of UAE roads, locations, and traffic regulations.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy furniture safely.
• Good communication and customer service skills and the ability to follow schedules, instructions, and documentation accurately.
• Responsible, punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious.
• Basic English communication skills are required; additional languages are an advantage.
• Flexible working hours, including weekends or public holidays, may be required.
