JOB TITLE: DRILLING HSE SUPERINTENDENT
This is a 12-month residential contract position based in Sharjah.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HSE leadership and support for drilling, completions, well intervention, and construction activities.
- Lead risk management processes including PTW, TRA, SIMOPS, and incident investigations.
- Monitor and improve contractor HSE performance through audits, assessments, and mobilisation reviews.
- Ensure emergency preparedness through planning, drills, and response capability development.
- Drive environmental compliance and HSE performance reporting.
- Develop and mentor HSE personnel while promoting continuous improvement and safety culture initiatives.
Essential Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, IADC WellSharp HSE, or equivalent certification.
- Minimum 15 years' HSE experience within the oil & gas industry.
- Strong operational experience supporting drilling, completions, and well intervention activities.
- Proven experience in contractor management, incident investigation, audits, and emergency response.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Previous Middle East experience is highly desirable.
