ROGII is hiring a full-time Drilling Engineer specializing in technical sales.
The role supports software solutions for oil and gas well operations and drilling workflows.
The work combines client technology presentations, field-trial support, product collaboration, and drilling optimization.
Responsibilities
- Present ROGII technology to customers.
- Support ongoing trials, gather user feedback, and provide solutions to satisfy customer needs.
- Collaborate with the product owner, drilling engineers, and developers to prioritize drilling product roadmap features.
- Analyze geoscience and drilling data to design innovative drilling optimization approaches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Drilling Engineering, or a related field.
- Three years of drilling engineer experience with unconventional and batch drilling projects.
- Understand ROP, connection, tripping and casing time optimization, drilling hazards, and BHA analysis.
- Understand directional drilling with motors and RSS and ways to quantify and optimize it.
- Know real-time monitoring workflows, including drilling parameter thresholds, Days vs Depth, and torque and drag plots.
- Experience with industry-standard drilling monitoring and optimization applications is preferred.
- Be creative and take initiative in proposing solutions to problems.
