Role overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare drilling and wells documentation, reports, and presentations in line with industry standards, best practices, and company requirements.
• Include detailed risk assessments and derogations as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to reviews, validations, and endorsements that support project sanctioning.
• Support supplier and partner technical engagement for readiness, safety, and quality; resolve new-technology non-conformities and deviations in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate commitment to company HSE, Life Saving Rules, and the Incident Free initiative.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Seven years of Drilling & Well Engineering experience, including a minimum of 3–5 years of rig-site operational experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English and experience with MS Office.
• Competence using WellView, Compass, Wellplan, and MS Project / Primavera.
• Proven record in technology scouting, pilot/test design and execution, and successful introduction of solutions.
• Valid IWCF Well Control Certification Level 4, or competency for qualification.
• Valid OPITO-approved Sea Survival, H₂S, and Fire-Fighting certifications, or competency for qualification.
