Role

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to safety and quality protocols during offshore execution.
• Coordinate brownfield and hook-up execution, including commissioning, against safety, quality, asset-integrity, and schedule objectives.
• Supervise contractor and subcontractor work through mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with contracts, project documents, and applicable standards.
• Review deliverables for constructability and technical compliance; review contractor progress reports and flag critical issues.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors on completion, commissioning, progress follow-up, and reporting.
• Supervise Permit to Work meetings and coordinate permits with the host and contractor under approved method statements and JSAs.
• Escalate discipline concerns that do not align with Qatar Energy rules.
• Promote safety on offshore execution and marine units, close assigned safety actions, and participate in lessons learned.

Experience

• 10 years of experience on large oil and gas projects in construction-related disciplines such as construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, or hook-up.
• Experience with oil and gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy offshore execution construction companies.

Technical Knowledge

• Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria for fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, commissioning, and hook-up.
• Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures and their operations, as relevant to project scope.
• Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
• Experience in large-scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, or similar areas.
