Draftsman - Interior Design - 12 Months Contract

Role overview

Drafting and design support

• Produce technical layouts, elevations, sections, and shop drawings using CAD and Revit.
• Assist with design details and create drawings or illustrations that communicate aesthetic and functional requirements.
• Present drafts to the lead designer for approval and finalization.
• Develop 2D and 3D models that follow industry standards, building codes, and regulations.
• Review project information, revise drawings for changes, and compile assigned project data.
• Archive, track, and control revisions of design, shop, and as-built drawings.
• Comply with applicable policies, procedures, guidelines, and quality standards.

Self-management

• Agree on performance goals, pursue proficiency, seek input from colleagues, and identify opportunities to improve performance and capabilities.
• Identify training and development needs with the reporting manager.
• Complete other responsibilities as directed to meet department objectives.

Education and experience

• Bachelor's degree in a civil or architectural discipline.
• At least five years of relevant experience focused on interior design.

Technical and language skills

• Advanced AutoCAD skills for detailed 2D drawings and 3D models.
