Prepare technical drawings, layouts, and as-built documentation for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Work in accordance with project specifications and local regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare detailed CAD and shop drawings from engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations.
- Revise drawings to reflect design changes or consultant and client feedback.
- Produce coordinated architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for submission and construction.
- Ensure drawings meet Dubai Municipality and other relevant authority standards.
- Maintain organized drawing and document files; coordinate with engineers, architects, and team members to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with site measurements and as-built drawings when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of drafting experience in Dubai within an engineering consultancy.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit, Civil 3D, or other software knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with local authority submission procedures and standards, including DM, DDA, Trakhees, and DEWA.
- Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, communication, and teamwork skills.
