Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our real estate development team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, layouts, and construction documentation for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
The role requires strong coordination with architects, engineers, consultants, and site teams to ensure drawings are aligned with project requirements, UAE regulations, and company standards.
Drafting & Documentation
- Prepare architectural and technical drawings, layouts, plans, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Revise drawings based on design updates, consultant comments, and site requirements.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, local authority regulations, and company standards.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings.
Design Coordination
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and project teams for drawing integration and clash coordination.
- Assist in preparing submission drawings for authority approvals.
- Support design teams in converting concepts into detailed working drawings.
Site & Technical Support
- Coordinate with site teams to resolve drawing discrepancies and technical issues.
- Prepare as-built drawings and update records based on site modifications.
- Conduct site visits when required to verify dimensions and execution details.
Authority & Compliance
- Ensure drawings comply with Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, Civil Defense, and other relevant authority requirements.
- Assist in preparation of documents required for permit submissions and approvals.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Draftsman within a real estate developer, architectural consultancy, or construction company.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, and other drafting/design software is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of architectural detailing and construction drawings.
- Familiarity with UAE building regulations and authority submission standards.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Knowledge of construction methodologies and materials.
