Role overview
The GIB Draftsman prepares technical drawings and detailed plans based on project specifications and client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Create accurate CAD drawings and update project documentation.
- Coordinate with engineers to ensure compliance with design standards.
- Conduct site visits when necessary to gather data.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software and other technical drawing tools.
- Strong knowledge of central gas system design and international standards, including NFPA, British Standards, and IGEM Standards.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing technical designs and plans.
- Ability to collaborate with engineers and technicians to execute projects efficiently.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills for coordinating with project stakeholders.
- Capability to perform site visits and gather technical data for designs.
- A diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience in the gas industry or related fields is an advantage.
Workplace
- Full-time, on-site role in the Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
Compensation
- Pay starts at AED 5,000 per month.
