Assistant Store Keeper

Inventory and stock management
- Receive shipments and verify quantities and quality against purchase orders.
- Unpack, inspect, and label industrial goods, bulk supplies, and oversized piping; identify damage or supply discrepancies.
- Maintain stock records using inventory databases or manual ledgers, and conduct physical counts to reconcile records.
- Rotate stock using First-In, First-Out (FIFO) methods to reduce waste.
Warehouse operations and logistics
- Unload, lift, maneuver, and position heavy industrial deliveries and long items such as steel or PVC piping and heavy fittings.
- Organize storage to maximize capacity and enable rapid retrieval.
- Pick, pack, and label materials or customer orders for distribution; repeated heavy lifting is part of active shifts.
- Issue items only to authorized personnel with validated requisition forms, and alert the head storekeeper when stock is low.
Safety, maintenance, and housekeeping
- Clean work areas, shelving, and storage floors regularly; track temperature logs for specialized or cold-chain goods.
- Use proper body mechanics, team-lifting techniques, and safe load-handling practices.
- Enforce security protocols and prevent unauthorized entry or stock pilferage.
- Operate equipment correctly and wear required protective gear, including safety boots, high-visibility vests, and heavy-duty gloves.
Pay
- AED 2,000–2,500 per month.

- Work location is in person.
