DOH Registered Nurse (Arabic Speaking)- Academics

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and qualified DOH Registered School Nurse (Arabic Speaking) to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting student health, providing first aid and emergency care, managing chronic conditions, and ensuring compliance with school health policies. Candidates must hold a valid DOH license/eligibility and be fluent in Arabic and English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care, first aid, and emergency response to students and staff.
• Monitor and manage students with chronic illnesses, allergies, or special healthcare needs.
• Maintain accurate health records, immunization records, and medical documentation.
• Conduct health screenings and support infection control measures.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as per physician instructions.
• Educate students, parents, and staff on health, hygiene, and wellness.
• Coordinate with school administration, parents, and healthcare providers regarding student health concerns.
• Ensure compliance with DOH regulations and school healthcare standards.
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and incidents on campus.

Requirements:

• Valid DOH License / Eligibility Letter as Registered Nurse
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (School nursing experience preferred)
• Fluent in Arabic and English (Mandatory)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Pediatric or school healthcare experience is an advantage
• CPR/BLS Certification preferred
