Dive Centre Technician

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, and maintain control panels, systems, and equipment to regulate and optimize production processes.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and other team members to support operations.
• Follow safety guidelines and industry regulations.
• Prepare, inspect, and maintain diving equipment and provide operational support.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in dive centre operations, professional or scientific diving, marine operations, or a similar technical role.
• Demonstrated experience preparing, inspecting, and maintaining diving equipment and supporting operations.
• Experience with compressors, cylinders, inventory management, and dive operations is preferred.
• Experience supporting marine research, conservation, coral restoration, or vessel-based diving operations is advantageous.
• Relevant technical, marine, diving, or vocational qualification, or equivalent professional experience.
• Professional diving qualification, preferably Divemaster or above.
• Recognized first-aid, CPR, and oxygen-administration qualifications.
• Equipment servicing, compressor operation, gas blending, technical diving, or scientific diving qualifications are advantageous.
• Valid diving medical when participation in diving activities is required.
