Distributor Inventory Management Associate Manager

Associate Manager responsible for Vendor Managed Inventory and Customer Managed Inventory replenishment for Nestlé KSA customers.

The Context
Associate Manager responsible for Vendor Managed Inventory and Customer Managed Inventory replenishment for Nestlé KSA customers.
Serves as the primary customer contact for accurate, timely replenishment and agreed service levels.
The role is full-time and on-site in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
VMI/CMI Replenishment Management
- Generate optimized replenishment orders in Nestlé or customer VMI/CMI systems.
- Balance inventory and service goals using sales history, forecasts, and stock availability from Nestlé and customer distribution centers.
- Manage VMI technical solutions, including data maintenance and system alignment between platforms.
Analytics and Demand Planning
- Analyze customer behavior trends and out-of-stock risks.
- Use planning, forecasting, and replenishment techniques to improve sales and inventory levels at customer distribution centers.
- Incorporate inputs from demand and supply planning, sales, customer, and service strategy teams.
Customer Engagement
- Act as the primary advocate for VMI/CMI customers and resolve stock replenishment issues.
- Provide accurate and timely information for customer stock management activities.
- Execute OpsDSR strategies to allocate stock based on business and customer priorities.
Distribution Cost Optimization
- Collaborate with logistics, demand and supply planning, transportation, and supply chain analytics teams to optimize distribution costs.
- Maintain lead times, delivery expectations, and new product introduction parameters.
Candidate Profile
- University degree required.
- 2–4 years of operational experience in order fulfillment, VMI/CMI, or supply chain roles.
- Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain, customer service, materials handling, logistics, and transport optimization processes.
- Understanding of demand, supply chain, and finance processes for pricing.
- Customer-side experience in a collaborative VMI/CMI environment is a strong plus.
- Supply chain improvement project experience is beneficial.
Salary Benchmark
