Lead Vantage's renewable and alternative energy strategy across APAC to support data center growth.
Develop campus energy solutions that strengthen energy security, resilience, sustainability, and long-term capacity.
Work cross-functionally and with utilities, developers, investors, technology providers, and government stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute renewable energy, clean technology, and power strategy across Australia and APAC.
- Originate, structure, negotiate, and execute energy transactions, PPAs, utility supply agreements, and partnerships.
- Analyze energy markets, regulation, pricing, and technologies; present investment cases to executive leadership.
- Lead campus strategies and deploy solar, wind, BESS, fuel cells, hydrogen, microgrids, on-site generation, and other solutions.
- Develop architectures that support decarbonization and distributed energy integration while reducing reliance on constrained utility infrastructure.
- Manage utility, regulator, government, developer, investor, and technology-provider relationships; lead grid-access and transmission engagement.
- Represent Vantage in energy policy and industry initiatives and establish strategic partnerships.
- Lead projects through development, construction, commissioning, and commercial operation; coordinate permits, approvals, interconnection, risks, and handover.
- Support customer energy discussions and deliver infrastructure for new and expanding data center campuses.
Experience and qualifications
- 15+ years' experience in renewable energy, power, utilities, energy markets, or related sectors.
- Proven success developing, financing, and delivering large-scale renewable projects, including wind, solar, and BESS.
- Experience structuring and executing PPAs, behind-the-meter connections, BESS, on-site generation, and renewable energy procurement transactions.
