- The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Lead the vision, voice, and global narrative of one of the world’s most iconic luxury destinations, shaping how Burj Al Arab is experienced and perceived as it enters its next defining chapter
- Take full ownership of the marketing and communications strategy, guiding the property through its restoration and relaunch while elevating its position as the flagship of Jumeirah
- Act as the custodian of an extraordinary legacy, ensuring every touchpoint, from brand storytelling to guest experience, reflects the heritage, craftsmanship, and ambition that define us.
- Conceptualise and deliver globally resonant campaigns and cultural moments, capturing the imagination of international audiences and reinforcing its status at the pinnacle of luxury hospitality
- Orchestrate integrated, multi-channel marketing across key global markets, spanning digital, PR, partnerships, content, and brand collaborations, with a relentless focus on quality and impact
- Build, inspire, and lead a high-performing, world-class team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence within a fast-paced, high-profile environment
- Partner closely with the Executive Committee to translate brand ambition into commercial success, ensuring Burj Al Arab continues to lead, inspire, and set new benchmarks for luxury worldwide
About You
- The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Strong leadership and team management capability with a proven ability to build, inspire, and develop high-performing teams within luxury or premium brand environments.
- Strategic, commercially driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate brand vision into impactful marketing strategies.
- High level of creativity combined with strong project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-profile environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Minimum 10 years of senior marketing experience within luxury hospitality or comparable global brands.
- Proven experience leading marketing for an iconic, flagship or globally recognised luxury hotel, resort, or destination.
