Job summary

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the focal point for Kerzner departments and Owners/Developers during design stages, integrating operational requirements into projects.
• Coordinate with Brand, Operations, IT, F&B, and other departments to obtain operational guidance for the Design Team.
• Maintain policies and procedures, report known deviations to the EVP, Design, and take action to address them.
• Help prepare consultant scopes of work covering design and construction services.
• Obtain Operations briefs, communicate required actions, and ensure consultant deliverables include project requirements.
• Manage design from concept through completion, meeting timelines, budgets, and quality standards; review and approve consultant submissions, drawings, and specifications.
• Review and consolidate contract submittals and RFIs; conduct full technical reviews of design deliverables.
• Coordinate with the Architect of Record and construction team to deliver approved designs on time and budget.
• Lead and mentor design specialists and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor on-site design execution and progress against the Basis of Design, agreed deliverables, and milestones; resolve construction-stage design challenges.
• Evaluate innovations, materials, and technologies for sustainable, cost-effective solutions; ensure compliance with the company Business Management System.

Skills, experience and education

• 10 years’ experience; minimum 2–5 years in Dubai.
• Minimum education to degree graduate level.
• High-rise construction experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with strong attention to detail and quality.
• Able to work under pressure and to deadlines, work as part of a team, and be self-motivated, approachable, and friendly.
