Requirements

- Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
- Substantial expertise in contract management, procurement processes, and financial oversight
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage cross functional teams
- Expertise in negotiations and stakeholder management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Job Overview

- This senior leadership role drives commercial strategy for the residential development portfolio, overseeing all commercial aspects from planning to execution.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the commercial strategy for residential developments, aligning with Qiddiya's corporate objectives.
- Manage the commercial teams to ensure effective procurement, contract management, and cost control for all residential projects.
- Lead negotiations with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for residential projects to ensure they meet financial and timeline targets.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements associated with residential developments.
- Identify and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle and implement necessary mitigation strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, local communities, and regulatory agencies.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for the commercial team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- At least 15 years of experience in commercial management within the residential construction sector, full lifecycle 'cradle to grave' commercial experience required.
- Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
